How this tool changes learning in a way that isn't possible without technology
The unit is on the Rise of Authoritarian States. The lesson that I would use this with would require the students to use this as an example of what they would create. The topic is the rise to NAZI Party Rule in Germany they would be required to each take a different viewpoint from the provided list and they would use Emaze to create that persons viewpoint through the images and text.

The creation of Newspapers has always been a great way to organize points-of-view, historical perspective, and contextual clues. But they have always been time consuming to make . This makes them very easy.
Students need to brain storm and organize information quickly for a joint presentation. The presentation will be about the General Rise of Single Party Rulers. They are to post their own top ten list of characteristics of single party takeovers. Then they will use the list to sit and discuss each others choices before finally posting the final version of the list.
This is an invaluable way to have the conversation behind the something large that is not apparently connected become simplified. I think on these type of web tool activities as group research and common understanding practice.
Students are to look at the context for the speech at hand, determine the policy that may have been behind it and develop a sense of what the Nazi party plan was at this stage of the process. This is part of the Single Party States Rule Section of the syllabus.
This kind of collaborative document could not have been possible without technology. Just the way that the easy of connection happens make this invaluable.
Creating Brain Storming Or essential word lists is a big part of learning vocabulary. Having students pre create these types of word lists is a fun way to spark conversation about topics. This one is about the unit on Single Party States. They are to take the number on the one that I send them and put in the first (roughly) of the words, of the number chosen, In this case it is five.
